Great running pants

Great running and cycling pants. I've used them down to around 10F and found they keep me warm enough. I've also used them under 0 with a thermal underlayer. The quality seems good and they seem quite light and flexible. My only complaint is that they seem to take a while to work. I would buy again.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons

Simple but comfortable outdoor pants

Bought to complement my winter run. Good soft and smooth material. At 6ft tall and 185lbs I got a size M which fits perfectly. I usually wear running shorts one size smaller because I like them to be tighter on my body. Tapered and ribbed cuffs provide a slightly looser fit at the hips, but not as harsh as jogger pants. The pants are basic and with their flaws (no zip pocket, elasticated ankle cuffs), but quite decent for the price I paid - $25. Although I'm not sure I would pay more.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Very good training pants.

I love these pants - they are lightweight, stretchy and have a perfect fit - my feet feel comfortable in very cold Utah races. The ankle zips are very long which makes them easy to get on and off and the drawstring at the waist is very generous although I rarely use it because the elastic waistband keeps them nice and tidy. I'm 6ft 3in, no 205, and L fits me well. The only downsides are 1) they don't do well in windy conditions and 2) the fabric is quite thin making durability risky but isโ€ฆ

. Pants with tapered legs and it was the best I could find

5ft 9in, 158lbs, waist 29in that I could find. The optics were perfect and the price was right. I expected good quality from Asics and they delivered just that. The material is soft and does not stick to the skin when wet. I've been using them for about a month and I'm very satisfied. If I had to pick one item that I would prefer for this product, it would be size XS for a more comfortable fit. However, this is a great buy.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Some small things

I've finally found long enough running pants that aren't tights! I have five pairs of $75 XXL Nike running tights that are two inches shorter. I am 6ft 3in and 235lbs. I need XXL for the waist measurement. This is the first pair of running shorts that I didn't find too short. I love the feel of the fabric. I live in Central California and the fabric weight is perfect. They have leg zips but no pocket zips. The lack of pocket zippers is not critical for me. I was so happy with my first pair ofโ€ฆ

I don't like the underside of the runners.

I live in Chicago and wanted these for running in about 30 degrees. They're lighter than I expected (because another reviewer said they're good for 30 degrees), as is the feel of the material. If you're aware you're running in the cold, start cool, at mile 2 warm up, so I don't want to judge it on feeling thinner. i like the style They are semi-adjacent, straight throughout, with no bulges. The best pantyhose replacement I've been looking for. Very thick, comfortable waistband with drawstringโ€ฆ

These pants fit perfectly; not tight or baggy

I'm 5ft 10", 180lbs, Medium fits me. The legs are an inch or two longer for my 31-inch inseam, but I don't see that as a big deal; This allows me to ensure my ankles are covered in the coldest weather. I live in the South, where a man wearing tights to work out can draw more attention than he likes. However, I find normal jogging pants too "baggy" for training. These pants fit perfectly; non-tight or baggy skin. They are slightly loose in the seat and thighs, and the legs taper nicely to theโ€ฆ

Matching but better options

Ignore background I'm 5ft 11in, 185lbs and Medium suits me. My suit size is 40R. I was looking for cold weather running tights. and really didn't want to wear the more common skinny tights, I would just wear them under other pants that look better on 40's and get too restrictive with all the layers. There were soccer shoes that sat between baggy sweatpants and tights. Call them loose tights, Boston jogging pants, or soccer shoes. don't go outside, I'm not a soldier in the cold) and also I would
