Adjust snugly only after breaking, they are perfect

I've spent quite a bit of time looking for wrestling shoes that are wide enough for me. Once I found them I gave them a try and at first they were quite snug, almost too snug, but I got my way and went to practice the next day (after leaving scraps of newspaper in my shoes overnight) and they fit perfect and fit me almost perfectly. I would give it 5 stars but it's a bit uncomfortable on the arch of the foot.

Pros
  • Helps boost confidence during games
Cons
  • May be too bulky for some athletes

Solid wrestling shoes

ASICS has always made quality shoes and this is another example of solid craftsmanship. Although advertised as "wide," they aren't much wider than standard shoes. If you have a large foot, try a size 0.5-1 and order a wide one.

Pros
  • I love these wrestling shoes! I wrestle in college and they are awesome :)
Cons
  • This shoe is designed for people with narrow feet. Besides, he's too small.

I never have to size up shoes so I ordered my usual 12 boots to go up a size despite the warnings in the review. They were insanely tight like I was 11 and VERY tight I could barely get them on my foot and they wouldn't fit. My problem was more width than length, I usually wear regular width shoes but my feet are wider than usual so on return I ordered a 12.5 (2E) width and they fit incredibly snug but were manageable and should be fine break . So I would either go full size of standard width…

Pros
  • FINE
Cons
  • I bought a bigger one. But it was even less

Shoes are small - my new review

These are very good wrestling shoes. Just wore them to an MMA class. I wrestled as a kid but haven't worn wrestling shoes for over 30 years. They are really good compared to the shoes I wore in the 80's and 90's but I have to say they run very small. I have two pairs of Asics running shoes, both a size 10.5, which are a bit large and can be scaled down to a size 10. These wrestling shoes are a size 11 and barely fit me. 11.5 would be better but I will leave them as they will stretch. For this…

Pros
  • These shoes are the best. Soft, light, supple and perfect fit.
Cons
  • Not suitable for activities other than wrestling

very narrow width for my rating.

the tongue is also sewn along the inner row of the lace eyelets, leaving a very annoying composite seam at the ball of the big toe.

Pros
  • Comfortable and flexible fit
Cons
  • Shoes may not provide adequate cushioning

Runs out about two sizes too small

It hurts... they were too small. I even ordered a half size up and they were tight. I didn't want to order a size up as they would still be snug but longer. I liked her look

Pros
  • Good fit
Cons
  • A few small things

Too small too small

I have 10.5 so I ordered 10.5. He's too small. It turned out to be so small that I was afraid to reorder a larger size. I was and still am angry about it.

Pros
  • Same as everything so far
Cons
  • Speed
