👟 ASICS Gel-Venture 8 Women's Running Shoes Review

I specifically ordered half a size up as my toes were starting to cut through my current shoes (same brand and style) and they always felt a bit small. I tried them on when they arrived and my toes are even more pressed against the front of the shoe. Two stars for how quickly they were shipped and received (a day ahead of schedule).

Always wear Asics, always buy the GT series for overpronation, they should be for overpronation too. I tried on a pair in the store and I liked them but they were at the best price so I ordered them. They feel different and almost cheaper, they made me feel like I was walking around with a pidgin on my toes and squeezing my toes. I've never had to return a pair of ASICs, but 10 minutes after wearing them for the first time I couldn't wait to take them off!

Quality looked great as always with ASICS. Unfortunately they are much smaller than the stores I buy them from. When I go into their stores and get touched, I wear a size 9 comma, so I bought a size 9. It was too small so I returned it to buy a 9 and 1/2. You can see in the photos how much smaller it is than my size 9. I ended up gifting it to my daughter because she wears about a size smaller than me and they fit her.

My kids have wide feet which excludes many shoe brands for us. These Asics fit my daughter very well. They're not as comfortable as the Brooks Ghosts running shoes she used to have, but they're half the price and last longer. She sports a lot and they have a nice limited construction around the toes that helps them work more like elliptical machines, allowing for lateral movement without blowing out the sides of the shoe. These shoes run very small. I'm a size 10.5 but no one does a 10.5 so I always take the 11. Usually a size 11 is too big for me and since I have thin feet they are sometimes even flexible. I wear a size 42 in the tags and they are very roomy to wear. All this explains that these shoes are very small in size 11, which are also EU size 43.5. The way my finger ends up resting, even without walking, I'd say 11 is more like 10 or even 9.5. European 43.5 is ridiculous. They are also quite narrow in…
