The manufacturer's compatibility chart is incorrect.

It was listed as compatible with my 2004 Toyota Sienna but does not fit the Toyota OEM 90915-YZZD1 filters that were designed for it. I suggest measuring the specific filter you will be using and comparing it to the diameter of the box wrench. The key appears to be of good quality. (Turns out the correct key for my 2004 Toyota Sienna with 90915-YZZD1 filter is TOY 730 from Assenmacher.)

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Almost OK

Worked great on our 2008 VW Jetta 2

Worked great on our 2008 VW Jetta 2.5L. quality tool. We recommend. Although - I realize it wasn't easy to find. because the name "Ford/Toyota/Maza/Mercedes" is misleading. Luckily I was able to refer to the official VW "Oil Filter Wrench #VAS 3417" for a 74mm 14 point wrench from the instructions here: http://autoresource.internetautoguide.com/change-oil-filter-2008-jetta - 1072.HTML

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Reliability

Great tool especially when trying to get oil.

Great tool, especially when trying to open the oil filter housing for the first time. I had two other oil filter wrenches that I use on regular oil filters and neither worked. This opened up the oil filter housing on my 2015 MB GLK. My only complaint is that there was a slight gap or space between the sides of the key and the filter housing cover, which slightly reshaped the plastic filter housing cover.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Some imperfections

Perfect for 74.4mm diameter oil filter housing

Works very well and looks very high quality. I used it on my M111.960 engine. I was worried I might have bought the wrong key as the official size was 74.4mm. It fits like a glove and is the same as Hazet tool number 2169. From what I've read it also works for the following engines: M102, M103, M104, M112, M113, M119, M120. indicates it is compatible with M137, M155, M272, M275, M285, 611, 612, 613, 628, 646, 647, 648.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Zero

lol Overall quality seems good. We'll see in time

Ideal for 2005 clk320 oil filters. The only problem I had was having to buy a special tool for the oil filter housing. but it's not because of the tools it's because of Mercedes.lol Overall the quality seems ok. Let's see how time flies. EDIT: Now uses this for our w211. It seems to be holding up. Note that I'm not using a ratchet in the hole, I'm using a socket that goes all the way around the outside. I saw someone break them and it looked to me like they were using a ratchet that went in…

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

holds Works well.

My husband bought this tool to change the oil on my 2007 VW Rabbit. He used to buy other tools from local auto parts stores but nothing compares to this one. The plastic ones easily broke or came loose on the 1/2" drive fitting. He also tried using a Sears strap wrench. That didn't work either, and there wouldn't be enough play (there was also oil in the play that could cause slipping). Anyway, back to this tool, it works very well. Really likes that you can attach a torque wrench to it. It's…

Pros
