Bidet in a normal toilet?!

One of the joys for me while traveling in France was the bidet. When we replaced our toilets I added this product to my toilet. Not only do we enjoy the clean feeling that a bidet gives, we live in the country and have a septic tank. I want to reduce the amount of paper I wash. Husband installed a bidet and toilet. He found the installation to be easy. One snag was tightening the connection between the bidet hose and the toilet joint. As soon as he tightened it, the leak stopped. The bidet…

we love our bidet :)

I've never had a bidet but love it! I am a mother of 6 children, and even the little ones wash their "ass" :) Everything is much cleaner. My potty trained 3 year old is much easier to clean up after pooping. Sooo much better than smearing feces off your butt with paper. We also have a small pot that when I use it I just pour it down the toilet and rinse it out with a bidet. Me and the kids installed it, so obviously it's pretty simple. Good advice is to stay low, it's quite strong. High is…

Ever have an itchy butt after toweling off? And still you leave streaks or feel a little sore? Get this bidet. The connection process is really simple. For example, my wife and I went from the box to the bidet test in about fifteen minutes. Most of those minutes were spent looking for a screwdriver. It's very easy to use. You turn the dial. The more you turn it, the stronger the water pressure. *nods in agreement* I used to be very picky about my toilet paper and bought really good stuff. Now I

It feels best in bathroom fixtures

The first thing you need to know is that this bidet works. It feels very good on the carcass and cold water is not a problem. Directions are very clear. The list of required tools is very clear. I installed the bidet in about 30 minutes with the help of my husband. The bidet has a little problem with my toilet which is Kohler. The bidet raises the back of the toilet seat, allowing a small but steady stream of water to exit between the bowl and the seat. First, I blocked the splatter by stuffing

I was not impressed by this bidet head

I bought this bidet head based on the good reviews and ignoring the negatives that some have mentioned. While I love the concept of a bidet head, this one didn't work for me. Installation was pretty easy and simple. However, the base was too thick to properly fit my toilet with a toilet seat (I tried 2 toilets with 2 different seats). As you can see in the picture, this makes the toilet seat float over the edge of the toilet. Aesthetically I could live with that, but it resulted in the toilet…

Paradise in my bowl (tmi alert.)

I love my bidet. And love. I'm an American who's never known the pleasure of being a really clean bum. For two and a half years I have had a painful rash that bleeds underneath. The doctors I went to said there was nothing to do but lose weight. That's all well and good, except that walking or jogging often made me bleed profusely and caused me excruciating pain. I've ruined more than one pair of good underpants this way. I've tried so many things from creams, steroids, essential oils (BAD…

Much lower quality than the Luxe, not worth the savings

I have previously installed 2 Luxe Bidet Neo 185 (Elite Series) - Self cleaning dual nozzle - Non electric mechanical fresh water toilet bidet with strong tap valves and metal hoses ( blue and white) - 2 sets per pack. Each lasted a few minutes. Not so with Astor. I figured I could save some money by buying this instead of another Luxe, but all the time and effort trying to install this wasn't worth it. Parts are just inferior. The first major drawback is the rubber hose that connects the…

You will feel like a clown at a carnival.

My ass has never been cleaner. Like most Americans, I was hesitant to use a bidet, unknowingly considering it more of a feminine hygiene product. After doing a little research I decided on this bidet based on the reviews and the price. Installation: I am familiar with the removal and installation of toilets and house installations. The attachments and hoses appear to be of decent quality and I had no trouble making a solid connection. The toilet seat brackets are front to back adjustable so I…
