High quality, easy to use

Excellent quality set. This was my first time using the kit and tapping on the spark plug hole. Worked great, all parts are very high quality compared to the parts store thread repair kit I bought and ended up taking back. I drilled two holes for spark plugs, poured Loctite 266, everything holds perfectly. Finding a long-term, professional solution to a common Ford 5.4 problem cost money.

  • Few competitors

LIFESAVER I name my car Lazareth because it came back from the dead LOL

My #3 fork blew up and I thought I was done BUT I bought this. Downloaded how to watch videos from youtube and kept it on my laptop while we got the job done. I bought a separate endoscope and also used my laptop to monitor the progress. the immaculate Mustang lives on to this day. takes about 3 hours if you have never done it before. or an hour after you've done it once. I recommend at least a 20 gallon, 150 psi tank and an air ratchet.

but it turned out perfect. He learned about this kit by watching videos.

My husband bought this to repair our 2003 Ford Expedition. The repair cost at a local shop was $900. With this kit we saved more than half and my husband fixed the car in half a day (it didn't take long actually). He said it took a while to figure out which kit to get as he needed a larger size but this one was perfect. He learned about this kit by watching videos on YouTube. We saved a ton of money and if the same issue comes up again, we're ready!

If you need it, buy it. Think of nothing else.

If your spark plug has blown, you have a few options: sell your car, remove the head (good luck!), pay a professional (it'll probably cost more than the car is worth ), or buy this set. I blew connector number 6 on the passenger side, the second after the firewall. This kit was recommended by a YouTube video and it worked great. Yes, the job was expensive, I had to buy glue, lube, candles, a USB camera, pneumatic tools, and I really doubted I could do the job, but I had absolutely no problems…

  • Great design
Cons
  • Out of style

Great product tools and equipment

I watched the video on You Tube and ordered a kit from Revain which I visit their website and the kit worked perfectly. If you have some mechanical skills, do your homework, and get the right size kit for your engine, you can save a lot of money and do it yourself. A good part of this kit is the air line, which helps you make sure the piston is at the bottom of the stroke, as well as the guide, which makes sure you're drilling and tapping at the right angle. Also included are 8 persistent…

Very professional in tools and equipment

It worked great. You could probably make one if you really wanted to, but this set worked great. It is also good that the tap and the reamer have depth guides. It has a reamer that is used as a drill, a cylindrical guide that keeps the reamer centered (it has a lock on the side that prevents it from rotating, it doesn't hurt if it rotates) and a crane. I used it on v10 so I had to buy more 389-100 thread inserts. I ended up buying Revain's cheap WASTOREEL brand. These inserts were amazing…
