Does not meet my expectations

Based on my observations, this industrial drill bit did not perform well. Despite being made of HSS6542 Spiral Stainless, it seemed to struggle with cutting through materials. The bit also became dull after only a few uses, causing me to have to frequently replace it. While the price is affordable, I would not recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable cutting tool.

Pros
  • Affordable.
Cons
  • Poor cutting ability, becomes dull quickly. Keywords: Industrial and Scientific.

Does what it's supposed to do

For $27 this set is pretty hard to beat, used primarily on thin 404 stainless steel, still retains its cutting edge, has 75-100 holes drilled.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires socket

Works best with step drill bits

Used a large drill bit to cut a hole in a stainless steel kettle to add a baffle and ball valve. Everything is fine, even the oil was not poured. I used a high torque, low speed (450 rpm) drill bit.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • old
