Great Filter: Spare Parts

This is a quality transmission filter that fits my 2002 Ford Explorer perfectly. It looks identical to the factory filter.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Not Safe

Good value for money filters and transmission accessories

Good value for money. Please note that this filter comes in two versions, one with a short suction tube (for shallow oil pans, e.g. sedan) and one with a longer one, like this one, for deeper pans (trucks, SUVs).

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

As expected on filter

This per. The filter fitted like a native. I don't trust Ford's recommendation to service the transmission after 150,000 miles! The Ford dealer overhauled the transmission. twice in less than 25,000 miles and it still crashed again! An independent garage finally fixed it and now after 90,000 miles it's time to remove the pan and replace the filter. The car still drives, but without the help of Ford Motor Company's dealer network. He will never go back there!

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Low maintainability
