Best seal price ever, some may say it's a bit flimsy but I say it's ok because there is no carbon or dirt in the gearing there so it's great and all AT trances have metal scales and it can be really helpful. For $5, great ether with no leaks

The seal came folded in a box. It is torn due to the creases. The material is wafer thin. You can get a betting block by slicing open a cereal box yourself. At least that way you can have a tasty snack in the car while you wait for the tow truck.

ATP Sump Gasket Working. I used to use a rubber gasket on a Jeep transmission pan with sealant. It didn't take long for it to expire. What I love about this particular ATP liner is that it doesn't require silicone, instead sealing through moisture wicking and expansion. Let's see how long it runs without a leak.

compared to what I took off, this heavy steel and plastic transmission filter, it was very thin and caseless. I'm a little nervous as there isn't even an o-ring or seal. The filter material is identical, it just lacks strength and frame. Too bad I didn't look through all the offers before buying. However, it works perfectly, shifts smoothly.

Great set. Excellent fit and materials. I had no problem using it on my '97 Jeep with a 42RE transmission. No leaks after 60 days of daily riding, and I didn't have to use any dirty sealants, just the good seal that comes with the kit. I've never used this type of gasket before and was skeptical, but it swells up a bit and fills in any surface irregularities on the oil pan mating surfaces during the first drive cycle. Will use again next time I change gear oil.
