This was exactly the pump I needed for my boat. Left in stock it was easy to exchange and return to fishing. A live well pump is essential to keep the fish fresh before cleaning.

These are good cartridge pumps. I throw them into my pond waterfall controlled by my solar panel. I wish they built a brushless DC pump that runs indefinitely. These pumps wear out the brushes after about a season.

installation; There was no wiring harness, just bare wires. So I cut the wires off the old pump wiring harness and used that, then soldered the waterproof wire connectors from the wiring harness to the new pump wires. The pump was easily installed in a pump housing mount at the stern of the boat. Hopefully this will last longer than the 1 1/2 year old original.

They seem cheap but I buy a new one every 6 months and 2 of the 7 I've bought in the last 3 years run at very low RPM. I thought it was my wiring, but the new wiring didn't change the impeller RPM, and the new cartridge worked properly. Disappointing but I am in the process of replacing them.
