Great product for the price. It is very durable. Easy to install. Only downside is that the piece attached to the seat is a little wobbly (hence the 4 stars) but that's easily fixed with pool spaghetti foam. It doesn't come with nuts or bolts, but I got them from Home Depot for a few bucks. I am very happy and satisfied with my purchase!

Except for the wobble, they look solid. There's too much space in the two-part post and I get a little nervous when it's dragged out by hesitation. Some sort of plastic sleeve is needed to hold the fit tighter. Otherwise easy to install and works well to keep the seats behind the windshield low while riding Starcrafts 86 18s and slide out to keep everyone high enough for fishing.

As advertised but the inner and outer tubes are not installed properly and I can imagine they wobble and are not as stable as they could be. but this is their lowest price and it looks like they are as strong as you can expect at this price point. I had them resize the seat to my needs - as a sample and can I possibly replace them? Or weld them at the right height?

As other reviewers have mentioned, they are too loose. So when you sit in your seat in the boat, you are always a little wobbly. If they use a heavy duty nylon strap and suspect the insert tube is a bit closer to the mounting tube, it wouldn't be so damn wobbly. It really isn't rocket science. But there aren't any competitors that I can find, so here it is. are they decent yes they are decent They do their job.

They are quite strong and good quality. Especially for the price. My only issue with them is that they are wobbly. Of the two I bought, I welded one on the highest power setting and coated the inside of the other with liquid tape. Seems to be working for now. I would buy them again and recommend them to others as they are a good product for the price although you may be a little disappointed if you are not practical or resourceful.
