Terrible Sound Experience with EQ Tech

Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I can say that this equalizer is absolute garbage. It does more harm than good and the sound quality is just not there. The pros are none. The cons are losing money and ruining car audio experience.

Pros
  • Easy to install and use, even for those with limited knowledge of car audio systems.
Cons
  • Can cause distortion in sound quality if used improperly or set too high.

Do not do that! in automotive electronics

Shipping was great but it's the end of EQ! Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $10 to buy something other than that. It's very cheaply made, and to use "damping" you have to add another amplifier, making the purchase worthless. Another problem is the "Radio/Cassette" or "CD" button! Cassette! For real! Also, there is no fuse to protect your car or component.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Long time

I've had no problems with my

Clipping (distortion). I didn't get any clipping from the line input to the EQ. It's a balance of amp volume (background noise if too high), EQ volume, EQ band levels, and line input.

Pros
  • - Extra RCA stereo input for use with portable devices such as an MP3 player or DVD player
Cons
  • Long shipping
