Easy to install. Used slider from a series carburettor. Set the propeller to the same RPM as the stock carb and the bike rolls over and rides like new! So far very satisfied. The carburetor is almost identical to the standard carburetor except that the bowl drain plug is on the right side instead of the left side of the standard carburetor, making it a bit more difficult to reach. Overall very happy with the replacement.

As well as some others mentioned: Unbolt the old carburetor. Remove the cable and needle guide from the old carburetor. Clean the needle and set it aside. Refitting to a 2003 Honda xr100r.turn on the gas again. Launched on second hit. Lower the idle a little. Like Jason said. Since 2018. The only hiccup was when my fat fingers dropped the carburetor nut into the engine. Lay down a rag and prepare a magnet to remove the fallen nut.

Ideal for 2005 CRF100. As others have said, used an old slide. I wouldn't disassemble it for a new one. Before opening the faucet, turn the idle screw back to 1-1/2 and make sure the other screws are tight. No leaks. Cheered on the third hit. Two thumbs up. After warming up I had to adjust the idle a bit. I also agree with the problem with the jet from the previous post. At WOT it gets stuck. I will remove the carburetor and reuse the old jet as the holes in the new one are too small. Otherwise

This carburetor works great! My xr100 starts up the first time and works as it should. The reason for the 3 stars is that when it was originally installed, fuel was pouring out of the carburetor. Initially I thought it wasn't a float needle as this problem is not uncommon with new carburetors, but it turned out that a small brass plug was missing under the fuel inlet. I was able to find a very short screw, use gas proof teflon tape and plug the hole, but this carb took an extra hour to install.

Rather than continue messing around with the old carb on my crf100 I bought this carb so I could just plug it in and play. There are a few things to consider. The standard main jet on this bike is 98. This carb comes with 92! That meant that here, at 1200 feet and 100 degrees, he was hoarse and weak-willed. I switched to a 100 main jet and now it works perfectly. I also noticed that this needle is a bit longer than the standard needle so I kept it instead of using the standard needle as others…

This replacement carburetor worked great on my daughter's 2001 Honda XR100r. After restoring the stock carburetor and still having problems (it sat for years before we bought it) I thought I'd give this Revain one a try.
