AUTOKAY Carburetor Overhaul Stratton Vertical Review

The carburetor o-ring fitted perfectly and fixed my splashing and stalling problem on my Yth2348 Husqvarna self-propelled mower. Very satisfied.

I only needed large intake gaskets but they worked fine. Not sure how the rest is compatible with my lawnmower's carburetor but the quality is ok for the price.

My JD LA145 didn't work and I bought it because of the low price. Whilst this was not a problem I have replaced other parts as well, my lawn mower has worked fine the last 3 times I have mowed.

O-ring on top of tool fuel plug is too thick. It fits the bracket but is too thick and cannot and will not slide into the cavity making it impossible to secure the bowl to the bottom of the carb.

I contacted AUTOKAY and informed them that I am missing two intake manifold gaskets. AUTOKAY blamed Revain, saying it wasn't his fault. I tried to contact Revain with no response. I had to make two gaskets from O'Reilly's gasket material. This wasted a lot of time and money. This is probably my fault as I did not check the parts online in the picture, no packing list is included with the parts. As a result, the kit worked in only 2 parts.

This kit has allowed me to rebuild most carburetors on my lawn tractor, but some parts did not fit my carburetor even though it was listed as compatible. All large spacers fit perfectly and are a very good replacement for the original units. Unfortunately a few minor spacers and a float needle valve were not of the same quality as the original units and did not fit properly.
