As someone else pointed out the holes are not positioned correctly. You are only a part. When I installed the part, it broke due to the pressure of the screws pushing out the misplaced holes.

Several reviews complain that the screw holes do not match. What I see is that the pump has to be deployed manually first. If you try to tighten the pump with the screws, the plastic tabs are likely to break.

Zero rating. Have requested a refund. The part was not manufactured to properly fit a 4HP Tohatsu. The holes didn't line up properly. When trying to fasten the screws, the threads crossed, when trying to align the part, it broke. I do not recommend this product, it is a cheap fake.

My problem solved My problem: I was having trouble with my gas not staying in the bottle. So I had to keep pumping fuel into the engine it wasn't holding gas so this seemed to fix my problem, will update once I have it in the lake but so far so good, tested it in a bath of water and it seems mine to hold fuel. There seems to be a blockage in the old fuel pump. I really didn't want to mess with it so I just got a new one, everything has been working so well so far
