The Illumination switch I purchased for my automotive needs fell short of my expectations .According to my experience the lighting was dim and not at all what I was hoping for. While it was easy to install, the lack of adequate lighting makes it difficult to use at night. The design is sleek, but the functionality is lacking. I want to say that this is rare. but, as is often seen, some of these descriptions omit important information. In that case, they don't tell you that these switches are only rated for 1.5 amps. That means you'll need to add a relay if you want to use them for power windows, door locks, or anything other than a small lightbulb. In my case it's 4 for power windows!
