💦 Efficient Water Pump Pressure Controller: Automatic Electronic Switch Control, 110/220V Compatible Review

This is a great easy to install alternative to the old pressure switch on my 1hp water pump. Although I miss the adjustability.

Without pressure regulation. Adjust to 10 bar (175 psi). Too high for tank applications. It is also necessary to purchase an external contactor to operate the pump. ($75). Poorly described in the ad. Bad instruction. No support, website. Etc.

This product did exactly what we wanted it to do. It turns on the well pump on every request from any device and turns it off 12 seconds after the request ends. Absolutely perfect for our needs. A well storage is not required at all.

The sole purpose of the pressure switch is to turn the pump on and off. For the price, the switch does a great job. My only observation is that the electrical connections could be better as 10ga cable should be fairly standard for a downhole installation.

This regulator was too high when switching off 10 bar - not adjustable - was too high. The Hyundai pump model 82HYDP750A increases the pressure to 5 bar, so this regulator practically does not turn off. I do not recommend this controller for home use as it cannot be set to cut off less than 10 bar.

When I first bought this device I was amazed at how effective this device was because I installed another on the pump while the first devices were still working without failure the other devices fell short on it from installation. When I opened it up I found that it was leaking from the inside and the circuit blew causing the unit to stop working. I blame the faulty product as the other one still works great and the pump does most of the hard work. I will update if that changes.
