It helped me a lot. I used it for the first time last weekend after checking the compensator as instructed. I use it with a 40-6335 and a 14ft Johnson dipstick. It is very legible even at 300 feet. The only downside is that you need two people to do this effectively. I would like a 2000 foot laser, but money was a factor.

I always wait until I use something more than once before looking at it. how far the shot is I wouldn't trust it on the ground, but it's good for debris buildup and gauging the amount of debris if you keep an eye on the bubble and don't shoot past 200ft. I think the problem is with the 3 bubble adjustment system instead of 4 with lines of ink on the glass to indicate where the bubble should be.
