Fits like a glove Good for transmission filter

The filter definitely needs replacing. 276,000 miles with original 2007 Honda Accord EXL filter. I highly recommend this filter.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Useless Features

Item maintenance

I had to change the transmission oil in a used car, after 2 complete drain and fill cycles, on the 3rd drain and fill cycle I replaced the transmission filter with this one. Everything is fine now, take care of your car.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Not bad price on filter

Got this to flush the gearbox for my Honda Element, turns out I got the wrong fluid, the filter is fine. I just didn't use genuine Honda oil next time I need to do some research before changing the filter and transmission oil.

Pros
  • Excellent overall
Cons
  • Expensive

This is a filter. it filters things.

Removal and installation was easy, but the location wasn't ideal. It is frame mounted next to the radiator (2010 Honda CRV) and removing the plastic skid plate was quite a hassle. In addition, it is held by two clamps and a bolt.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Protection

NO BYPASS VALVE

The genuine Honda part (25430-PLR-003) has a bypass valve to prevent damage to the transmission when the filter paper becomes clogged. This aftermarket filter costs a fraction of the cost, but if the user doesn't change it frequently, they risk damaging their CVT transmission.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Problem

Difficult to replace yourself

I did the replacement myself on a 2006 Honda Civic Here it was a complete mess. To get to it I had to remove the entire intake box and intake manifold. Then the hoses were tightly welded to the filter. It wasn't a very fun job. The filter works as a direct OEM replacement. There's really no good way to tell if it works better than others.

Pros
  • nice touch
Cons
  • not bad

Buy this instead of OEM. The same for less money!

I bought this for my 2007 Honda Accord Lx 4cyl and it fits perfectly! Works just as well as Honda parts and is half the price! The installation took a maximum of 10 minutes! It is located just below the fuse box. It has a clamp holding it. This is a 10mm screw. Remove the bracket and 2 clamps on either side. Then mount the new filter with clamps and holder and you're done!

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Weight

KEEP IN MIND! in automatic transmission filter

Warning: This product does not meet the specifications of the 2005 Honda Accord LX. I decided to check this by disassembling the factory transmission filter after replacing it with an aftermarket Revain filter. The original filter has a spring-loaded check valve in the inlet and outlet lines. The Revain copy doesn't, although it uses the Honda OEM part number. If your transmission cooler develops a leak, you can destroy your transmission. you have been warned I'm going to Honda tomorrow to buy…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • disappears
