Fits perfectly, replaces an old crumbling Mickey Mouse valve. Anyone with an N52 engine needs to replace this valve before that crappy plastic valve falls apart, coolant spills everywhere, you get stuck or your electric water pump ruins.

Perfect replacement for your old broken OEM plastic hose fitting. This metal fitting would likely have lasted the lifetime of the car if used at the factory. The O-ring that came with it was the right size. You will need to apply some pressure to the connector to snap it into place before tightening the screws. I had to use both hands. I would recommend replacing this metal fitting as a preventive measure as it is easily accessible and a common source of failure.

tldr: save yourself the hassle, this flange works and is worth the money. I bought the cheapest Revain coolant flange because a metal flange is a metal flange right?
