🔧 High-performance Wexco G138-400.01000.5512 55nm Wiper Motor: Reliable and Efficient Solution Review

Had to drill new brackets but hard to find anything that will work in our old 1997 Safari RV. Now that it's here, it works great.

Good motor - moves RV wipers effortlessly. Switched from a smaller motor to this one - and had to make new bolt holes. There was room on the legs for additional threaded bolt holes where needed, but it looks like Wexco decided not to do this to save on manufacturing costs (I think).

I have contacted Thor to help locate a replacement wiper motor on my 2008 Damon Challenger 371. I was recommended a Wexco wiper motor, part no. 0172388, which cost approximately $500, excluding tax, S&H, or labor. Was installed and works great.

My wipers stopped working during the rain. Not a safe way to travel. See what size my RV was supposed to be and the motor fitted was the wrong size. This is the one that should be installed. I bought and installed it myself, now I have excellent wipers in the rain. Also, I save a lot of money by doing the work myself.
