I put these lights in addition to the reverse lights. I was going to hook them up to the backup light circuit but figured I wanted them on a toggle switch so I could turn them on at any time (hiking trips and nighttime excursions). I was very impressed with the extra beam. Good quality product. I always use a lock on a bolt thread, but that should be taken for granted. The price is unbeatable. I'll upload photos soon.

Some say these cheap headlights aren't worth the money. I say different. I don't ride much off-road. But when I use them in very dark places, they don't disappoint. Now another topic I read was impregnation. I've seen rain and car washes. No water managed to get in. Now in terms of theft, yes, a bottom screw or hex head angle screw can remove them. It's not so good. But they're pretty cheap, and allen locknuts and round head can solve most of this problem.

Decent lights for such a price. They do have a condensation problem, but I took some industrial silicone and ran a roller over the lenses and outer rim before screwing the bezel back on and that seems to have fixed the problem. The clear plastic is housed in a black plastic bezel and provides room for water ingress, especially at high airflow rates. I don't know why Auxbeam didn't solve this problem themselves because it's very simple.

I don't usually write reviews but I made backup lights out of it and friends have asked where I got the backup lights and so far I've bought 4 sets of these backup lights. Settings and made one for a friend of a friend who finds out his mate wants a set too so he'll probably be buying a 5th set soon. wow effect. Moderately easy to install. Be patient really. Drilled through the inside of the roof. First I removed the cover (very easy), then drowned it out. Update from 03/18/21: Lantern removed and freed from moisture. Apply some grease to the gasket on the back of the lamp housing. He survived several rainstorms and a car wash. I didn't want to use sealant in case I had to clean it again. This seems to be all that is needed. The headlights are excellent, bright enough for reversing lights. 2 purchased in November 2020. I bought 3 of these to replace some other lamps from another overseas competitor. The previous ones were good but the quality wasn't enough. These auxbeams have a constant brightness and light pattern, so I replaced the previous ones. I haven't had them that long so I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping they'll hold up to the bumps they'll experience in off-road use. I also hope they are as weatherproof as advertised. The reason I only gave them 4 stars is that the mounts could be improved.
