Then the CD MODE will show another mode AUX INPUT besides FM CD mode. If AUX INPUT cannot show, then the cable cannot fit. Please further check that your car whether have the aux input, if not, please do not make order. Length: 140cm. Please further check with your aux have been activated or not before you make order. Extremely disappointed. The product was incorrectly connected!

I was very excited when I bought this item, I used it on my last Mini Cooper and it worked great. When I decided to install this one and it didn't work, you understand how frustrating it would be so now I have to rebuild my machine and find a new one that actually works. Upon further investigation I found that the element was incorrectly connected, the yellow and red wires had to be swapped.

Will NOT work on 2005 BMW Z4 E85

Bought and installed on 5/29/17 on my 2005 BMW Z4 E85. It didn't work so I did a lot of research to make sure I installed it correctly and I did. I wrote to the seller the same day 5/29/17 and didn't get a response for several days so I just ordered another one. The second ordered didn't fit either! Direct plug and fast play product. I have a 2006 z4 3.0si with a business receiver. The plug fitted the back of the radio perfectly, long enough to mount to my liking. I specifically ordered this cable instead of the others because it had a built in plastic sleeve that contained a small circuit with resistors connecting the left and right channels so the radio would see a high resistance. Ideal for audio in some BMWs

Bought for my 2003 BMW Z4. I had a problem trying to get the HVAC vent out. I've watched a few videos on how to do it but it still doesn't work. I think mine was damaged during removal earlier. I finally found out that there is a panel just below the radio under the dash that just pops out with a simple look with a knife. Works great with my 2006 BMW Z4!

It took about an hour to install, but I wasn't in a hurry. Several videos have been posted, I advise you to watch at least one. I searched how to remove the car radio and found a lot of information so there were no surprises. My stereo already had a two-wire connection, which this replaced. I had to disassemble the connector and move two wires to the new connector before connecting it to the back of the stereo.
