This tether tie out is perfect for my active pup. It allows her to enjoy the outdoors and get some exercise, while still keeping her safe and secure. The 15 foot length gives her plenty of room to roam, but I know she won't be able to wander too far. The clip is sturdy and held up well even in harsh weather conditions. The only downside is that it's not the most visually appealing accessory in my pet supplies collection.

I'm not worried about the cheap version getting tangled and hurting my furry little one. This cable is well made, strong and well coated. This is enough to give my pup freedom to roam the garden but keep him safe on our property. My pup is a 3 year old husky mix weighing 48 pounds. He's very strong, but this rope attached to the corkscrew keeps him safely out of trouble.

My 100lb small chasing/eating dog hasn't broken it yet. In fact, he's only been using it for two weeks. I usually make my own but stumbled across this product and the price was decent compared to buying the parts and the benefit for me was the twist locks so the chain doesn't bind. I think I might buy twist locks if I need to make the next one. If it lasts 6 months on my dog, I'll be very satisfied and will just keep ordering.
