Doesn't work with car and car electronics

Headset cable didn't stay connected. I recorded it but couldn't transfer it. I bought another one from Sun N Fun by Sorty's and it worked great on the way home.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • expensive

Works well.: Autoelectronics

Seems well done; works as it should. Velcro is strong; The cables are long, but not too long to avoid cluttering the cockpit. No static, fixed connections. A good thing. Required to communicate with the correct seat (no PTT on the other side for the one plane I fly), fits the bill well and doesn't take up much room in the bag.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

I will try another brand and hope for better quality.

I doubted it would even work with onboard avionics, but I was pleasantly surprised that it worked. The block appears to be very loose. It won't work at all if you don't "just like that" place the connector. I will try another brand and hope for better quality.

Pros
  • beautiful thing
Cons
  • crumpled packaging

Low Cost = Low Quality on this

I slowly rebuilt my '69 Piper Cherokee with great attention to detail. I bought them based on the aesthetic of how they looked. Also bought a Bose A20 for my first major airplane race. Bending my body to tuck the extra cable neatly under the panel, I sat and plugged in my new headset. To my surprise I couldn't hear myself and at first thought it was a headset! After wiggling the connection to the new PTT, I found that it was very loose and would slip off on its own! Back to the familiar Telex…

Pros
  • Excellent Construction
Cons
  • Communication with Seller
