High strand count tinned copper conductor (Type III) for low resistance, high conductivity and protection from corrosion. UL standard 1426 listed, the recognized safety standard for boat wire. High grade PVC insulation resists moisture, flame, acid, alkali, oil and gasoline. Meets SAE, ABYC, UL and Coast Guard requirements, 600 Volts, 150°C dry, 75°C wet.

Electrons enter one end of the wire and exit the other

Wrapped in insulation, these flexible conductors do their job by allowing electrons to flow from end to end. It helps me with various tasks like converting chemical potential energy at one end of the ladder to mechanical energy at the other end of the ladder.

Excellent wire for wire

Came not very long after ordering. Was nicely packaged. Very good wire. I installed it on my 14ft boat and it works great. I hooked up my headlights and radio to it. I would buy again. I have a flat look and to say the least it's great stuff. I have a 14 foot boat and bought an 18 foot line. It ended up taking me over 18 feet. Ultimately, order more than you might need so you don't have to wait for more cables to arrive.

Loss of voltage problem solved

Before using this larger cable which Humminbird says I need to remove my fish finder from the battery, I would have lost a full two volts 16 gauge wire. My unit is working not with less than 12 volts. I'm not losing a tenth of a volt now. I have a round wire and it is very big. Knowing what I know now, I would order flatwire if I had to redo it. The new cable solved my problem.
