Great saw blade for the money

Saw blade perfect for my Shopsmith band saw. , no cracks in the weld. It seems fast and smooth I usually only use a 1/8" for spiral cutting pine or softwood under 1/2" thick and it seems to work fine for that.good as Shopsmith blades but at half the price - real value .

Pros
  • Fits Delta 28-140 10" band saw, Wen 10" band saw and Shopsmith 11"
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Good blades, good price, slightly aggressive

Bought to replace a Starrett blade of the same dimensions (1/8", 14 TPI); despite having the same number of teeth, they have a more aggressive cut that leaves a rougher surface than a Starrett blade. I ended up going back to Starrett for the finer work I usually do with this size blade and saving them for things where the finish isn't that important. They cost half a Starrett's blade, so overall they are quite profitable.

Pros
  • Wood cutting
Cons
  • Something different

annoy; Waste of money

This blade didn't suit me at all. I bought it a year ago, but only now it became necessary to open and use it. Straight out of the box it cut (if you can call it that) like a blunt. I cleaned it thoroughly and removed any chemicals it might have had to preserve it, but still got the same result. I have to work hard and move slowly, plus the wood burns and leaves so much resin on it that I have to clean it and the bearings after 1 inch of cut. I even tried lubricating the blade with wax, bioโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Rake tooth spacing, all teeth evenly distributed for better cutting performance
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Great value for money saw blade

The saw blade is a perfect match for my Shopsmith band saw. I haven't cut much with it yet, but it runs smoothly, doesn't crack at the weld. It seems to cut quickly and smoothly. I usually only use 1/8" for cutting pine or softwood under 1/2" thick and it seems to work fine for that. They may not be as good as Shopsmith blades, but at less than half the price, they're real value.

Pros
  • Saw blades, parts and accessories
Cons
  • Big and bulky
