Description of πŸ”§ High-quality B18 6 3 Plain Machine Thread Across for Efficient Assembly

Hex Nuts are appropriate for use in low-strength assemblies. Brass is suitable where corrosion resistance is a primary consideration. Drive system is a hexagon-shaped head. Coarse threads are better for brittle materials, and will assemble and disassemble more quickly than fine threads. Ensure a lasting hold for any project.

Brass and steel machine nuts.

Will not rust. I have to repeat that again because Revane asked for more than words in this comment. I could use a stainless steel counterpart as well, but it's hard to identify if mixed up with a bunch of steel parts. When brass is used there is no misidentification of the part.

Pros
  • Fixing material
Cons
  • Piggy bank Price

Great Small Parts

I used to buy from Small Parts Inc. back when I had a small design/mechanism shop. Now that I need a small amount of gear for my personal shop, I've found that Revain supplies the same. They are the same quality I need for the lab but now I use them in my homestore projects. This is a high quality custom size brass nut.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • New Competitors Appeared

probably good for the house. but definitely good for art

Let's face it, some of us come from Pinterest jewelry posts looking for the right hex nuts. It was the perfect size for the various bracelets and necklaces I wanted to make - small enough to look pretty and not too heavy. One or two in the pocket really get scratched but other than that they all look great. Sorry to disappoint any manly man wondering how well those hex nuts do their actual job. I can't talk about it.
