I have it, have my dog. He's 2. I was worried the big one wouldn't fit but there's plenty of room for him! The middle strap slides to the back strap due to its ribs. The bags have different connectors so you attach them to the right side. I plan to just provide him with a water bowl and a water bottle or two on each side for him. So far I'm loving it and again I'm shocked at how well the plus size fits him!

Really not bad. One star deducted for the inadequacy of the approximately 5 inch pad which is designed to prevent the neck strap from cutting into the dog's neck at the front. It is constantly changing and needs to be adapted. I'll find a way, now that it's my dog's size, to attach it more firmly to the harness. Otherwise very well done. Now my dog can carry his own gear!

After looking through several dog backpacks, I'm glad I chose this one! I bought this for my Great Dane and it also fits my 10 month old Saint Bernard and it fits both perfectly! Both bags are very spacious and hold a lot and the material looks very easy to care for and clean. I am really looking forward to using this backpack for my dogs this summer when we go camping and adventuring so the dogs can carry their own water, toys and tennis balls and I can enjoy the hike more with less stuff!

I ordered a large first because my dog's chest is 40 inches. at a good 5-6". So I started with a refund and got a replacement. The replacement I got was even smaller! Both items were marked with an "L" on the box. On the item itself was No size label.Only the label with all sizes available.I am very disappointed as it turned out to be exactly the harness and saddlebag combo I was looking for.

The backpack came much quicker than I expected. The packaging material is thin but durable. Our dog is an Irish Setter so he has a deep chest and narrow belly so we are still adjusting but we had it good enough for an exercise walk. There are a lot of webbing, which is good. I think it will work once we can tweak and customize it. The bags are big enough to carry his food and maybe water. Remember that your dog is not a pack mule and should not carry more than 10% of its weight. I would buy…

We didn't like the fit of the dog saddlebags. It's very light but with good ripstop and decent materials. However, our dog quite often hung in the undergrowth. There are also no straps to stabilize the load. The dog is hit by a weight that swings as it runs. If your dog isn't very active and you always stay right on the trail (or around town), this backpack is probably for you. But when we can, we let our dog run around a bit and he burrows through the trees and bushes, sniffing and looking for

Purchased for 2 reasons. For a harness so I can attach an orange hunting vest to it during hunting season. And for backpacks when we go camping in the summer. I have a large one for our 60 lb husky. She has deep breasts so she needs an extra size. I haven't tried the packs yet, but I can already tell that we need to put a compression strap around the whole body to keep the packs from bouncing up and down as we run. Seems well designed overall with a top handle, D-ring, adjustable straps etc…
