No fan. Very bulky, feels like sitting on a piece of plastic. The design isn't very comfortable for LEs who carry any item on the back of their belt. The two cuffs on the back cannot be positioned as usual due to the placement of the cutouts. Wouldn't recommend it.

Helps with lower back pain, helps distribute the weight of my gun belt. Other reviewers have mentioned the smaller size and I agree. I have a 35 inch waist and the narrow one is almost too big and takes up most of the back of the belt. It rides right under my body armor.

I used to try suspenders and a waistcoat, but when I went back to a more "traditional" look, I tried these suspenders. I've been wearing it for a few months now and it's definitely helping. My only complaint is the loss of real estate on my belt, had to downsize what I'm wearing now.

Save your back, take care and spend your money. Note: This is a symmetrical piece of leather and it doesn't seem to matter which side is up or not, but it is. There is a logo on the back, place the logo face up. Within a week I had to change a few gears and when I put the brace back on I had no upward words…
