Gardening can be fun!

That was also something special in the Easter present. Our grandchildren loved it! As they are disabled they can participate and then enjoy planting and hopefully see the seeds grow!

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • A few negative points

Great way to introduce kids to gardening

This is a gift for my 3 year old niece and she loves it. She had to plant seeds, watch them germinate and grow, and then help plant them again when they were old enough. She liked it very much. This is the perfect little project for kids living in the countryside as well as those living in cities.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Great little gift suitable for Novelty & Gag Toys

I gave these bunnies to our grandchildren for Easter this year. To my surprise, they harvested (and later transplanted into their garden) beans, radishes, zucchini, and cucumbers (no luck with carrots and watermelons) from this little starter kit! What a great introduction for these kids to learn how to seed on the table and the benefits of tending their little gardens. Great little gift!

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • I will add later

Great spring gift for kids

This year my kids got these Sunny Side Up Gardens in their Easter baskets. They are as adorable as spring gifts. The seeds included are strains the kids really enjoyed and it was nice that they came with a growth chart and plant markers - everything you need is really there. Almost all the seeds we planted germinated, some much quicker than I expected.

Pros
  • Absolutely fantastic!
Cons
  • Not as thick as other sets

Interesting project, delicious vegetables!

We bought these sets to give our children Easter baskets and surprisingly they were more excited about these garden sets than the sweets. The kit comes with everything you need including soil and a small journal to record watering, plant growth etc. The quality of the materials is excellent. I'm not exactly a green thumb but the plants all grew quickly and survived until transplanted into the garden where they really took off. We enjoyed delicious radishes, carrots, green beans, squash and…

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Not everything fits

really tasty plants, strong summer squash and cucumbers

This was a great project with my 3 year old. The Easter bunny arrived in April, we sprouted indoors and in May we planted a vegetable garden outside to repot them. The green beans are good, the courgettes have taken root very well and taste great, we picked them back in June. Pickles have also been skyrocketing lately, and the one we've had so far has been pretty tasty. Watermelons are slow growers but have recently started blooming. As for the radishes and carrots, I'm not sure what happened…

Pros
  • High marks for support and shelf life from testers
Cons
