WORKED! And my mini split works great!

I used this to test the lines. As it turned out, I actually had a leak and had to reroute the lines. It was easy. Then plugged the pump back in, turned it off, then waited 45 minutes to see if air comes out again. It worked this time! Great little pump. Add oil before use!

Great kit! ROI in one application!

Very high quality product, all accessories are included. 15 minutes with a Pioneer 18,000 BTU Mini-Split and suddenly we had air conditioning! I am very impressed with this vacuum pump kit with all quality accessories. We saved about $400 on contractors with this kit and I have two more Pioneers to install. An effort has paid off!

Works Great!: Air Conditioning Line Repair Tools

For the price this is an amazing piece of equipment. It pulled vacuum very quickly and worked very smoothly. Sometimes it took some time for the pump to work at full power. I just opened it up until it came in and then attached my hose. The sensor set worked very well and came with the necessary adapters for my system. I have installed 2 mini split systems with it so far. There are 5 zones in total.

Cheaper than hiring an HVAC repairman if you have basic mechanical skills.

Needed to create a vacuum for a unit I installed at home - I called the HVAC pros (7 total), lowest price for it was $700. @ $140 This vacuum and gauge set was very attractive, but there were some concerns about how quickly it would fall off and whether it would burn out if evacuated fully. The initial vacuum took several minutes - it ran for 15 minutes before checking for leaks. Then ran for an hour to fully evacuate any moisture. There are no problems with the pump. The gauge set had an issue

Worked great for installing my new mini AC split unit.

I've used an installer on my new air conditioners in the past but this time I broke down and bought this kit as I have three units to install in the near future and hey that's not one rocket science. There are many great videos online showing how to install a new mini split system. The first install alone saved me $200-$300 in install after the cost of that pump and gauge kit so it's already paid for itself and saved me money even if he dies tomorrow. In the future I will also take a set of…

So far, so good. Best A/C Line Repair Tools

I give it 5 stars because I ran it for hours and it worked for my mini split. Not sure how it compares to other pumps. Using a standard gauge tube with 1/4" fittings and a micrometer fitting on the pump, I was able to get the pressure down to 130 microns. I'm not sure if I had a thicker vacuum tube, it would be lower. The carrying case provided is roomy , looks great and makes a great portable mini split bag Enough space and intended space to store other tools and parts like vacuum gauge set…

Almost cost me my repair bill but I got lucky

Well, at first it looked like a great deal. I fitted a mini split (first :( ). I connected pressure gauge, pump (filled with oil first) and turned it on. Everything went fine, vacuum released quickly (it was my first mistake getting full vacuum) worked for 30 minutes, turned it off and let it set for another 30. Vacuum held, I thought everything was fine, something inside stopped me from trying again, but didn't want to get paranoid, and slowly opened the valves on the mini split to release the

For the homeowner, air conditioning is ideal. Not the best for a contractor

Honestly I bought this set and the yellow jacket. I paid almost triple that for the same gear in the Yellow Jacket. Now that we are adding AC services to our electrical contracting business I will be using it as a field worker. For this reason I am sending it back to keep the best quality but much more expensive units. The sensors work here, but the temperature numbers for each refrigerant are too difficult to see. The one I tried was about 5 pounds. I know there is an adjustment screw but it…
