Oven interior not high enough

Good concept, heats up quickly enough. The main problem is that the height of the pizza oven is not high enough. You can't tip the pizza enough to slide off, even with flour underneath. This results in the toppings and sauce spilling onto the very hot cooktop and you have a major smoke problem in your home. We used it once and then threw it in the trash it's a joke. I think I will continue to cook pizza outdoors.

  • Dream come true

Recommended Pizza Oven

I just received the stovetop oven and couldn't wait to use it. I wasn't in the mood for pizza, so I took one of Bakerstone's recommendations and made chicken and potatoes. I had delicious food in 15 minutes and cleaning up was an easy task! This is ideal for small portions or cooking indoors without heating up the entire kitchen. I also have the Original BBQ Pizza Oven but it's not always practical to cook outside so it's a great addition!

The best pizza ever. in ovens and toasters

I love this thing! Let it get HOT, the thermostat is almost as high as it will go. With a little practice you can get a great pizza. If you can't get the pizza skin off, then you haven't used enough paint on the skin. If the pizza starts to fall apart when you try to flip it in the oven, you didn't bake it long enough. Edit: If you're making a mess in the oven, you're doing it wrong! All you should have left after putting away the pizza was a burnt flower on the oven floor. Made 15 pizzas…

Smokey Mess Fits Small Appliances

I got this pizza oven for my husband for Christmas hoping to make pizza at home. Our first attempt was at Christmas. The first pizza was spoiled, the rest was delicious. But even with the ventilation on and the windows ajar (on a cold day) the smoke alarm went off. It's so hard to peel the blackness off the stone. I tried again after 5 days and both pizzas were a total mess. They must be much smaller than a thick bark to hold together. Then the smoke alarm went off again. I think I've exhausted

The grate was damaged and the worktop was getting too hot

Took this little one for a test drive on my brand new 6 burner stove tonight. I placed it on the left front burner and cranked it all the way up, periodically checking the temperature with my digital heat gun. After preheating to 750°F as promised - cool. The pizza was cooked perfectly in 2 minutes and came out great. I fell in love with this device immediately. Some time later, while cleaning, I discovered that my stone worktop near the stove was too hot to touch and when I wiped it with a…

. Some of my kids specifically ask me to use this for dinner on their birthdays. Of course, you have to learn, and it can be difficult to support a large family from a BakerStone when just one person is making all the small pizzas. Well, it's a challenge for me to get a chance to eat. They eat faster than I can cook them (cooking time is minimal). Remember: exhaust fan on maximum, kitchen window slightly open, sprinkle flour on the tray, do not try to make a deep bowl (it will not work) and…

Great product great gift works perfectly

My wife and I bought this as a gift for my in-laws who love to make pizza. It was bought as a Cyber Monday deal and we didn't know what to expect. We were very pleasantly surprised by the product. It comes disassembled but is easy to assemble. The oven is also included, as is a large spatula (you will need a Phillips screwdriver) and a wooden pizza peel. In general, assembly took about 15 minutes, as far as warming up we had no problems. We used the center burner of a Dacor cooktop and it took…

Very happy with this oven

My oven arrived last night. According to the instructions that came with the oven, it took about 15 minutes. to put it together. The quality is very good. All the metal appears to be thick and it also appears to be well constructed. I expected it to be delivered and made pizza dough before it arrived. I put the oven on the hottest stovetop and let it sit for about 20 minutes. before placing your first pizza. I didn't time it, but it was cooked perfectly in about 6 minutes. or so. I flipped the…

Eight years ago I decided to make Neapolitan pizza at home. I never succeeded. The main goal has always been to create an oven temperature that is consistently above 370°C (700°F). Numerous tricks and tricks were tried and while it was possible to heat a cooking surface (such as a brick oven) to a sufficiently high temperature with an oven cleaning cycle, there was not enough convection heat to cook the top of the oven. The pizza cooks as fast as the bottom, resulting in a decent bottom crust…
