excellent for the money

i didn't have high hopes for them but i rode 15 miles on my mtb carrying them under bags and was pleasantly surprised. They offer good cushioning and were very light and cool. The temp was sunny, 90 and humid (I'm in Southwest Florida) and I was no warmer in it than any of my other kits. My only complaint is that they bully you. Luckily they are very short so there is not much material to climb and you don't even notice it when you get in the car. At €17 they are a bargain and I would buy them…

My rides are more comfortable

I now have 4 pairs of these riding underwear. I've used a variety of soft underwear and shorts and these are my favorites. I ride paved trails, gravel/cinder trails, and dirt trails almost every day. I've worn them on trail rides of over 40 miles. While they don't completely eliminate saddle discomfort, gel pads make the ride much more comfortable. The fabric is breathable and helps fight sweat on 80F rides. When you sweat, especially on a gel pad, air flows through the fabric to keep you cool…

Great affordable panties.

I never thought I'd end up writing a review on padded underwear, but here it is. I have recently (within the last 3-4 months) started cycling for training purposes. It was difficult for me to get used to the rather hard seat of my new bike at first, so I replaced the seat with a more padded model. It worked for a while, but on longer rides (20 miles or more) I noticed the padding was too hard and actually causing quite a bit of pain. As an experiment, I bought these and another (cheaper) pair…

Really wanted to like them but was disappointed

I saw the customer reviews and thought hey $20 worth a try based on some of the reviews I read so I was optimistic about them Bought when they arrived couldn't wait to try them. The first thing I noticed when putting them on was that the padding didn't sit very snugly on my underframe, but being new to cycling I thought maybe they fit like that. The only way I could get her to sit in the right spot was to belt up and lift her up, but then down the road to the "wow" squat. I thought I should…

The best soft shorts I've ever tried

These shorts have only been ridden once with padded straps under the shoulders. I can say that I like them more than any other type I've tried. I bought 2 pairs of "outer" lined shorts which are not that soft and comfortable. Wearing these shorts also meant I had to make room in my water bag for another pair of shorts when I got to work. These Baleaf shorts solve both problems. They have more padding and are also generally more comfortable to wear as I wear my boxers then baleaf and then my…

Please read my update below: First Review: I'm a tall, overweight guy, 6'2", 240 lbs, 49 years old. I've recently started horseback riding again. First through the Riding neighborhood, no padded jackets - lousy. That kept me off the bike for months. I bought these shorts and decided to give it another try and was able to run 6.6 miles twice a day (it's a half marathon, folks!). To be honest there is still a bit of tenderness afterwards but it has improved a lot so I really enjoyed the ride and…
