If your curtains aren't super super light this rod won't work. My curtains are not heavy but too heavy for this cheap rod as you can see how it curves in this photo. I am extremely disappointed. I'm quarantined at home so going out and buying a quality rod and returning those cheap rods is not an option. I am extremely disappointed.

I saw another review about how flimsy it is but I figured since I was hanging a fairly small curtain it could hold up. center of its own weight. The hooks that come with it are also too small. One side was difficult to insert and the tight fit resulted in scratches on the cheap plastic stock. Huge waste of time and money.

Cafe poles are usually lightweight and only suitable for lightweight cotton curtains. I wanted this for my 84" x 52" shears and they fit perfectly. No voltage. Something like a sheer or cotton set of tiers and a canopy for the kitchen or bathroom would also work. I have curtains that weigh just over 3 pounds and this rod is totally unsuitable for them.

The extendable curtain rod consists of two parts, one that slides into the other. My order arrived with a large hole in the plastic packaging with one of the rods and knob missing. They weren't in the box either. From what I could tell from the attached parts, the item seemed sturdy enough for my intended purpose, which was to hang short, lightweight curtains over the bathroom window. So it happened that I had to go back. I blame Revain, not the manufacturer.

Bought to hang Japanese curtains (Noren) over the door and we were not disappointed. It goes perfectly through the pocket. Assembly was easy, the included screws are a decent length. The only thing that confuses me is that the nickel rod has chrome tips which looks weird. That's exactly what you see in the picture, that's why I'm not deducting a star. I used two of these to hang a window pane in my front door. I didn't like the other door panel hangers I found so I decided to use two of these. They worked great. They don't stand out too much and look very nice. What I also really like is that the rod fits exactly into the holder. You have to snap it, so to speak, so that it can slightly hold the curtain panel taut at the bottom. The measurements given in the description were correct. When my wife said she wanted to add curtain rods (I fit them) to all doors and main windows this was a set that continued to receive good reviews and was available in almost all sizes in stock .
