Great feel in the yarn

Bought this for my mum as a gift and she says it's not bad and I love the feel of it. Delivered safely, quickly, excellent seller.

Nice yarn, suitable for knitting and crocheting

I made a great scarf out of these two packs of thick and thin materials. I use a crochet knitter and made an amazing scarf. Warning: You will want cotton candy when using this yarn.

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Some problems

Not impressed

I just twisted two skeins of basswood yarn, bamboo yarn I think - both skeins broke repeatedly. One strand had two knots less than a foot apart. The breaks were in the middle of the skein, which leads me to believe I made a skein out of leftover yarn. I understand that there was a break in one of the two strands, but there were 5 breaks in total. Waste of my money and I can try to return the yarn. I'll try knitting the hat first to see how the knots develop.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Beautiful yarn

I love this yarn. It's nice and soft and goes well with thick/thin strands. When I bought it, I didn't realize it was called thick/thin because the thread isn't just thin thread, it "lints" every inch and goes back to the thin thread. It makes for a beautiful uneven pattern and is so luxurious I would buy more. The color is a little darker than the picture but a nice dark pink, not too dark but darker than the picture. I haven't had any issues with breakage or anything like that. I would…

Interesting yarn - and felt!

The knitting was a bit amazing - the thick and fine yarns are so even (unlike handspun yarn) that the hat I made had these regular scalloped edges on the crown and brim. If it were hand-dyed yarn, we would call this effect "pairing". I don't know if there is such a term for the combination of thick and thin eyelashes. I used dark green colored lashes around the edges that looked great with combs. But I was hoping I could block the bulges of the crown. The friend I made this for loved the oddity

Pros
  • Sleek Design
Cons
  • Vanish
