Incomplete kit - not suitable for travel

This kit looks more like a sample kit of Johnson and Johnson products than an actual first aid kit. It lacks an antiseptic to clean the wound, as well as tape for the gauze that comes with it. I bought this after using my wife's first aid baby to clean my son's broken knee while we were at the park. What's the use of a first aid kit if you can't clean/disinfect the wound before applying a band-aid? Well, at least that's the case. I had to order a few more items to make it useful.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Some small items

Great little first aid kit!

Excellent first aid kit. It contains enough items needed in an emergency. The ONLY thing I noticed was that it didn't have tape for the bandages as they aren't self-adhesive. I had to buy the band separately and put 2 in the kit. That being said, I love the items chosen for this particular set including Benadryl, Neosporin and a step by step first aid guide. I bought this kit specifically for my car as I travel from time to time especially when visiting family in the country. I like the compact

Cheaper than store

Ever since I moved to a new location I've wanted to buy one of these. It was three years ago. I would have seen them in stores but the prices were crazy in my opinion. I finally found the time to look for it here and this one is perfect. I didn't have to worry about the kids and just wanted to have the bare essentials on hand in case of any emergencies. The best part is that Neosporin and Benedryl creams are pretty generous. In addition, there are many patches. The first aid book is very…

Mixed Feelings in Bandages and Dressings

This is a phenomenal product. I'm a nurse, so naturally my dad asked me to look for first-aid kits to keep in his jeep in case he drove away screaming. I was very impressed with the M2 Basics reviews and the amount of consumables that came with it. I decided to buy an extra kit to leave at our family's country house to have on hand in case of need. I found it easier to get this for my son in college. I was delighted when, after their second call, I received an email from the company with a PDF…

Good basic first aid kit at a reasonable price

yes you need to buy a roll of medical tape if you have an injury bigger than a regular bandage. This is the second of these J&J first aid kits that I have purchased. Pros - Comes ready to use, has a "first aid basic" booklet, various wound care wipes, regular small plasters, even a box of waterproof plasters, a tube of first aid cream, a tube of antihistamine cream, an instant Cold compress, 2 sets of medical gloves, gauze roll. In general, a very decent first aid kit at an affordable price…
