Bapmic 06F109217A Timing Chain Tensioner: Ideal Replacement for Audi A3 A4 TT Volkswagen EOS Golf Jetta 2.0T Review

I recently purchased this Automotive timing tensioner for my Volkswagen and I have to say, I'm impressed. As a result of my tests, I determined that this tensioner improved the performance of my engine. The installation was straightforward, and the build quality is top-notch. However, the only downside is that it's a bit expensive, but considering the quality and performance boost, I'd say it's worth the investment.

Installed not knowing if my valves were bent due to timing belt and camshaft chain snapping due to tensioner failure. I was able to install this part and start the car. I hope this piece lasts a long time. If I had known the valves were ok I would have bought a more expensive part.

I used this on my 2.0 Turbo 2008 Audi A4 (B7). I got a code saying my cameras were misaligned and my car ran like crap with no power. Valve cover removed, exhaust camshaft set to TDC and indeed the intake camshaft was offset. I ordered this set because it was cheap and I received it quickly. It worked great for me, the car ran like crap until the ECU set the new/correct chain and cam position. Now the car drives fine (I swear too, and the chain didn't break, and the tensioner didn't fail…
