Didn't touch the air vents and kept slipping

Great idea but fell short on execution. The bleed rod handle, which replaces the bleed handle knob, does not have sufficient spline depth to engage the bleed shaft splines and therefore the shank will slip when attempting to close, tighten and/or open the bleed. I even tried tightening the mounting screw but it didn't help. I think the combination of lack of spline depth and plasticity is what makes it fail. I will try to send it back but the refund took too long.

The handle does not fit my model.

Included handle does not work with MAXXFAN - Airxcel fan. The seams didn't hold. The pen itself has 4 tips. The MAXXFAN controller has 3 points. Also, the handle is larger in diameter than the one I took off. It could be mounted and screwed, but could not be turned because the center of the handle was too close to the corner. I removed the D-ring and discarded the grip that came with the kit and modified it by piercing my original grip and re-attaching the D-ring. It works. The little red tip…

The stick works great; Handle too long for frame

I was glad to find this. I have an A frame and can't reach the vent button without climbing on it. I was dismayed that the handle was too long for my vent (for the roof closure gap) but it didn't open. I made my grip work by wrapping it twice with a 12" zipper to make 2 loops at the top (the back goes either side of the shaft); I then secured two loops in the center front (where the screw goes in) with a smaller zipper. The handle has been reinstalled and the vent wand works great with the zip…
