stopped my leak for some time.

I think there is a leaking transition pipe on my 02 Olds Intrigue with a 3.5 "Shortstar" engine. A drop of coolant the size of a baseball, mostly in the winter. Not a big deal, but my low coolant indicator light eventually went out and I had to top up. 3 of these dissolved in some sort of coolant and poured into my top hose because no I'm not trying to replace those seals. The leak is gone. About 2.5 years later I noticed a half dollar leak. Nothing to worry about.

Use liquid form.

bought to plug a pin sized hole. I went to use it to insert into the filler as directed. The granules are very large and easily fit down your throat. I only got 5 inches. Walked 10/15 minutes. The woman went to work the next day and on the way home the upper hose was torn off. After I got there and started looking, I found that the pellets were just left in the filler neck. I had to use a screwdriver to open the hole so I could fill it. I think if I had to do it again I would use liquid.

Good preventative sealant

I have used this product on many GM vehicles over the past 15 years. Will it stop the squirting leak, no. Will it prevent the pinholes from leaking and seeping around the gaskets and o-rings, yes. I use it in every car I own to prevent nasty leaks. I break tablets with a hammer and mix them with coolant instead of just tossing a full tablet into my cooling system. For preventative maintenance, this works. If you're expecting this to be a panacea for a big leak, you'll be disappointed. You needโ€ฆ

They are good, even excellent.

Had tried virtually every other solution to stopping radiator leaks before. "This is the cheapest solution, nothing good will definitely happen!" - Exactly my thoughts. When you receive them, place all 6 in a large glass jar and add HOT WATER in small amounts until completely dissolved, then add to the cooling system (straight to the radiator if possible). Run your car according to the recommended cycle on the box and you will be amazed - my radiator had a large leak that barely came out. Iโ€ฆ

Works incredibly well; Effectively STOP a serious head gasket leak!

My 1991 MB 300d had a large coolant leak from the head gasket. At 30 years and almost 400,000 on the clock the car just wasn't worth the time/cost of replacing the head gasket so I threw the dice at these tabs to prevent leaks. saints. Shit. IT WORKS OUT! I used to lose about a half gallon of coolant every 10 miles (did I mention the leak was BAD?). After using the product as directed, the leakage stopped. I am shocked. Aside from being really impressed with the performance, I also appreciateโ€ฆ
