Faulty Pinch Gauge Fails Expectations

Based on my observations, this product is subpar. While it may have a good capacity, it falls short in terms of accuracy and durability. The pros may be in the initial strength of the pinch gauge, however, with continued use, the accuracy decreases until it becomes useless. The cons are that the product's durability leaves much to be desired. Overall, I would not recommend this product as it is not worth the investment.

Pros
  • Accurately measures pinch strength
Cons
  • Does not measure other types of grip strength, such as grasp strength.

poor quality is best in probes

We bought two plucked probes, opened, they were fine. Used and everything was good. Opened a second one about 7 weeks later and it's broken, not usable at all. Revane will not return except within a 30 day window. It's my fault for not checking if it's ok. Very disappointed that the first used item is just perfect. The second doesn't work at all.

Pros
  • measurements are accurate and repeatable
Cons
  • very expensive

Glass breaks VERY easily

My wife is an occupational therapist and has one of these, it works well but for the price we expected that Lens over the meter would be a bit more durable, I've had flea market sunglasses that have held up better than the lens on this item. A fall onto the table of a patient less than 4 inches tall broke the glass. It's still usable, but for the price we expected a higher quality product.

Pros
  • Measure handpiece, wrench and palm clamp force in pounds and kilograms using baseline gauge
Cons
  • unreliable
