Description of ⚡️ Battery Capacity Voltage Meter: Alarm & External Temp Sensor, 0-179??, 12V-72V Lithium and Acid Battery Gauge for Motorcycles, Carts, Cars

Multi-functional: can meantime show the battery capacity and voltage and Celsius temperature/ Fahrenheit; LCD display: the battery status reader adopts clear LCD color screen, displays battery capacity, voltage, temperature value. Buzzer alarm design: built-in buzzer 70 decibels, low battery alarm value default power is less than 25 percent, low voltage alarm value 10 - 59.9 V arbitrarily adjustable, sound and light alarm, over temperature alarm value 0 - 79 °C adjustable or 0 - 179 °F can be any tone, sound and light alarm. External NTC temperature detection sensor: the external probe 30 cm can detect the battery temperature in real time, and give an alarm when the temperature is abnormal, please insert the sensor into the NTC socket, place the probe on the part where the battery is to be measured, and fix it tightly, be careful not to crush the sensor. Protection: the battery power detector comes with protective shell, dustproof and waterproof surface; Input reverse connection protection, red wire is positive and black wire is negative, the white plug with electronic protection goes to the socket of the tester module. Fit for different battery: the batter gauge indicators are compatible with 12V, 24V, 36V, 48V, 60V, 72V, 84V acid battery, ternary lithium battery, polymer lithium-ion battery, 3 -15 series lithium ion battery, storage battery, water battery, lithium iron phosphate batteries and more.

Disabled at 20%, best reset in Tools & Equipment

My readings show a high 0.2V, which for a 12 lead acid battery is 20% at that critical 12V threshold. I have confirmed this with a reliable multimeter I have tested with other multimeters. It will also reset if the battery is disconnected. This is annoying, but not a big surprise. The inaccuracy is unforgivable.

Disappointing, the display always shows 100% charge, may not work properly.

Product comes without installation instructions. The product always shows 100% charge, even if the batteries are empty. I wonder if the product is working properly. As an engineer who understands circuits, I tried a few different connections but nothing changed. I also had it checked out by a technician at my golf cart shop. We assume that the product could be defective. ? Thanks for letting me comment. Patrick Faivre

Does what it promises

I've seen some reviews that say you can't turn it if the battery gauge is wrong. And that's if the box is right, but all you have to do is go into the settings, make adjustments, and it'll do exactly what you want, accurate and customizable. The only positive was that the power cord broke when I fiddled with it during installation. I was too rough with it, it's very delicate in that regard. I had to solder directly to the board and now everything works fine.

This product is good for monitoring battery voltage and temperature.

It looks like the battery percentage monitoring data is not accurate. I used the battery to power my 24 inch LCD monitor, Android phone and kayak lights. The battery was fully charged and when I turned on all my devices, the display immediately dropped from 100 percent to 73 percent after almost an hour with devices on. I turn it off and on again and the capacitance meter reads 93 percent, which doesn't match the 73 percent reading before it was turned off. Seems to be intermittent.

  • Easy setup

  • Not bad

Broken wire during programming

Poor user interface for programming with front and back buttons. You have to turn the device on (plug it in) and then constantly rotate it back and forth to press the buttons to program the 6 sub-menu items. Terrible design. Mfr - Just place the install button on the front. The wire is so small and fragile that it just broke at the connector. Too small for me to repair. Mfr - update cables and connectors. I can't imagine that if you could actually install and program it, its wires would most…

  • Easy to use

Does what it's supposed to do

I installed this on a SLA 35ah battery that I use in Power Wheels. It seems to work fine, but I haven't checked it against my multimeter yet. Pros: I can see how the drain on the battery is affecting the voltage in real-time, the screen is bright enough to be read from outside and fairly bright at night, power consumption is low enough to be negligible (seriously , I did the math, to discharge the battery it takes years and the self-discharge rate is much higher) so I just leave it on all the…
