Works great for me!

I have a 3rd gen Prius with a non-original stereo that requires a Maestro wiring harness that requires an OBD2 output. I wanted the DVR to connect to the device via OBD2 and this was the perfect solution! I needed velcro to hold them in place and they all worked great.

Pros
  • High quality materials offer superior cable flexibility and durability.
Cons
  • I don't remember

As advertised for tools and equipment

This is a replacement for a similar unit where the ribbon cable strands may be exposed and rub against sharp metal edges under the dash. A heavy vinyl jacket over the ribbon conductors should do the trick. Plan to use both ports at the same time, one for the diagnostic module and the other for the insurance discount module.

Pros
  • . Use an OBD extension cable to avoid wear and tear on your scanner's OBD connector.
Cons
  • Reliability

Works but has problems

Okay, I can run the scan sensor and data log on the laptop at the same time with this cable, so I bought that in the first place. I had no problems with their simultaneous work. Flat cables are easy to use, better than thick round cables that don't easily bend under the dashboard. The offset connector is good too, there's no cable under the dash to get in the way so it's nice and tidy. The Bad: The connector doesn't seem to fit properly into the car's OBDII port. . Sometimes I have to change…

Pros
  • 100% Brand New and High Quality Ultra Slim Low Profile Easy to Carry and Use.
Cons
  • Upgradeable
