This device is worth its price. Not only does it give out obd2 codes, but it also tells you what needs to be repaired or replaced. I bought this to program 2 transponder keys but I would buy it again instead of the rather expensive code scan tool! I am very happy!

Free software (Forscan) and this laptop connection to OBDII port allowed me to change the age of our hybrid's HVB and bring the HV function to a new level - else cannot save these cars from having to replace a very expensive high voltage battery (you can try to get Ford Engineering to hook up the IDS but most won't). Therefore, this is the only way to get more good years out of your hybrid.

This is a great alternative to some of the $70+ scan tools that have features I can easily live without. This works great for my 2014 Ford Fusion Energi Titanium. I have used FORScan to add many features to my car! Other modules offer Bluetooth and remove the switch on the side, but connecting to a scanner via Bluetooth will likely take as long as connecting a scanner to a car. Save money and get this tool instead!

Why haven't I seen this article before? I spent the same amount of money on a regular code reader. This thing is a life saver. It comes with a disc but I didn't have to use it. I just plugged it into my Windows 10 PC and within seconds the drivers were found and installed. FORScan started and connected to my Navigator 04 with no problems. Managed to do an ABS adjustment to get rid of the flashing traction control light. Life is good thanks to this tool.

BF32302 USB modified FTDI chip OBD-II scan tool. While it seemed easy at the time, it required a few specific steps. However, it all took about 2 hours of my time (to adequately digest all the steps) and voila! The car is back in business and the EV is now working properly. Thank you!

I can confirm this works with Forscan. As far as I can tell this is the cheapest key that will be. The installation process is quite simple. The instructions that came with the key are out of date. The url they provide for instructions is wrong. The URL listed in the product description on Revain is correct.
