I had to buy a new hose for the thicker part of the air intake at the top. But everything else came together perfectly. It took 30-40 minutes to get the old one out and the new one in. No setbacks or anything.

The illustration shows an oval filter. Got a round filter. The filter is too big to fit through the hole in the fender, so you need to fit the filter under the car and in the fender. If you look in your fender before you buy, you'll see that there really isn't much room for anything. The seam where the fender attaches to the car rubs the filter a lot after installation. I put several layers of heavy duty tape on the seam to protect the filter, but I have a feeling I may have to replace the…

Bought this for my 1997 Mustang GT as my first mod and I was blown away. Sounds much better than stock and the increase in performance was significant too.
