BD Diesel 1032004 Steering Stabilzer Review

This is exactly what my truck needs. This eliminates my truck's wander and makes the front stiffer to prevent steering wander.

Great product! Put it on my 4x4 truck with just over 191,000 miles. Now my truck no longer roams the street like a lost ram and the police stop me on suspicion of drunk driving.

I'm very happy with the anti-roll bar, both for holding the frame in corners (with the heavier bumper I have up front) and for maintaining steering play. Minimum. Go and buy cheaper. The paintwork was good but the screws are not grade 8 so why buy an expensive branded screw?

I have a 2000 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel 4x4. The truck, like most of these trucks, wanders when driving on the road and even more so on the freeway. I was hoping this would fix the problem. The steering of my 99 Ram 2500 4x4 Cummins required constant attention at 60 mph on a dual carriageway, requiring numerous small adjustments to keep the truck on track. The front felt stiff, so this anti-roll bar was the logical choice. Installation was successful except that the stabilizer bar tie rod had to be loosened and slid back to install the bearing mount in place. Great set and fits great. My application, 2nd generation Cummins Ram 2500 4x4 standard height. I used a jack and a 2x4 foot long to get the stock sway bar back in place and a ratchet strap to put the sway bar back in place, line up all the holes and hand tighten the bolts. If you work alone, I found the best option. The sequence is to remove all 4 stabilizer bar frame mounting bolts and support the stabilizer bar with a jack and 2x4.
