Makes loops

It took me a while to get used to this tool, but once I got a little practice it made pretty good jump rings. Just like making pancakes, the first loop will never be as pretty as all the others on the spool. Use a mandrel or other tool if you want to make a lot of rings. This will scratch the metal wire and remove the paint coatings on the wire.

Pros
  • Dual leaf spring design
Cons
  • Something different

While I appreciate fast shipping, they don't open or close easily. They lock in both the open and closed position. My husband tried oiling them and causing friction but it was still very hard and uncomfortable to work with while I made the decorations. They also seemed bent. Pros
  • Concave jaws help shape round rings or wire bends
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

For that reason alone it gets 4 stars. If there was tension wire between the handles I would give 5 stars. I have to spread the handles with my pinky, which is between the handles, and close with the first three fingers, which are on the outside of the handle. The tool looks very "loose" and is a bit uncomfortable. In…

Pros
  • Box connector design
Cons
  • Concise instructions
