Technically unreliable or smooth

I can't get a signal through two doors on an open road. However, I can get 3/4 of a clock from another router behind me in a building adjacent to the same small parking lot if I'm not pointing directly at it but at a 90 degree angle from it and there's no connection. not smooth enough to stream. Internet browsing is very slow and choppy. These are the places I see and can reach in seconds. Only slightly better range than my new Aspire E 15 internal card, I spent a full hour pointing it inโ€ฆ

Fake - It's just a Realtek RTL8812 USB in a box with a short cable

It's nothing more than a cheap Realtek WiFi adapter stuffed in an all-weather box. It won't improve signal range any more than plugging a standard $20 Wi-Fi adapter into a USB cable and mounting it high. Actually I tried and absolutely no difference in signal quality. The current drivers and software listed on their website do not work for Windows 10. Even if they follow them, they work clumsily, as if selling a faulty product is acceptable and expect your customers to jump through hoops , when

Durable and really works!

I was skeptical about buying this product at first, but having no alternative I decided to give it a try. I live on a boat in the local port and the wifi has a rather limited range. I moved the standoffs that put me on the very edge of the wifi signal, without them I would "probably" get a bar depending on how high I could elevate my laptop. With this nifty gadget I now get 4 out of 5 bars of stable internet service. This thing is pretty damn weatherproof, it works through heavy rain, strongโ€ฆ

Speed โ€‹โ€‹increase by 2-3 times!

I just installed the dual band version on my laptop. My Windows 10 laptop found and installed the USB with no problems. Select "WiFi2" (where you usually select the WiFi you want) and found the same networks (and more) with Bearifi. To test, I set up my phone as a hotspot on the other side of my house, got 2 bars, and tested the speed. Then I used Bearifi and found the same hotspot with 3-4 lanes and 2-3x the speed of my laptop! Very happy :-) Should work well in RV parks which are notoriousโ€ฆ
