The bearing was the right size, the bracket was better than the original design and it saved me from having to use the entire Having to replace Shop-Vac. It appears to be a quality product - time will tell its durability - and arrived as promised. To fix the problem you'll have to disassemble the entire vacuum cleaner, but that's not too difficult and certainly better than buying a replacement!

Here are some quality bearings. I originally bought a few others here at Revain based on the good reviews, but once I installed them on my Milwaukee 2780 brushless sander I quickly realized they weren't what I needed in a quality power tool. I ordered them more out of curiosity than anything else because they were advertised as ABEC-9 which is the highest ABEC rating which means tighter tolerances, higher accuracy, efficiency and speed. I don't have the ability to test most things, but I can get a general idea with my Mitutoyo digital calipers.
