Shannon stated that the rotation feature on this device only works if the bolt is loose enough. However, the hairpin moves and slides back and forth, making it useless when rolling. It is best to leave a 1/16 inch gap between the roller bolts and fully tighten.

I'm glad we bought the adjustable splints. When we made the barn door we weren't sure of the final width and wanted the track to reduce any "wiggle" when opening and closing the door. This one works perfectly, is well made and looks good. It was easy to mount on the wall thanks to the low profile that sits firmly on the floor. Great little product!

I had to customize the barn door kit to suit my application. Since I removed the groove that the included door track went in, I used these roller guides to fix the problem. The only thing I did differently was attach the rails firmly to the wall, but put the screws in the base into the rail's slot. Otherwise the conductor would end up crashing into the wall. Yes this product is solid but if you have a skirting board the door will slide out too far. I tried removing the inner roller and it worked, but now the bracket is sticking out of the door too far. This company has great customer service and recommended the bracket they carry, but it only fits a 1 3/8 inch wide door. I suggested that they offer different sizes of brackets for both designs so they could handle multiple applications and they said they would pass my suggestions on to their…

Good solid product. I am very satisfied and will buy another set in the future. To keep it from moving after you adjust the position, stick a hex wrench in the top to hold it in place and slip a flat wrench over the nut under the roller bearing and use the flat wrench to tighten the nut. Use a hex key to adjust the roller resistance.

They are strong and hold the door securely. You look good. Ease of installation. The only downside was I bought this because the roller is on either side of the door but the distance from the outside of the first roller to the back is 1 inch. Thus, the door protruded from the wall by 1 inch. I removed 1 roller and the door simply slides between the panel and 1 roller. Works well.

The only criticism is that to adjust the rollers you have to loosen the screw, slide the rollers to the desired width and tighten the screw. The tighter the screw, the less the wheel will move with bearings. I had to tighten it *almost* fully, but loosen it a bit to keep the wheel turning. After two days of installation and use, the wheel slipped off the desired width (because I couldn't tighten it all the way down) and now the gate has too much play.
